Do you get freaked out when things like SP happen to you? I've just become aware of explainations of everything that is happening when I go to sleep (vibrations, being unable to open my eyes...) and I'm pretty much affraid of the whole process that I involountary have to endure almost every night.

You shouldn't be, think of it this way. Your still here right? Nothing changed, or harmed? You've been through thousands of these processes in your life. You haven't be harmed yet.

Yeah, but I never went through it till the end. I always forced myself to wake. I'd even open my eyes with hands sometimes. But it's not that that I fear. It's just that the whole experience is freaky. So I wondered are people generally freaked out with it or not.

I like it. And If you have it involuntarly every night, that's a otn of chances for a WILD. Take advantage of your gift.

I hate the SP. It is so uncomfortable, as I feel desperate to move but I'm unable to.

Yes, this can be unpleasant, thats why you ignore it.

You may also use this time to configure the parameters of your upcoming LD - I've used words, but that wasnt too effective and it is distracting. Instead you may imagine a picture of what you want to see and hold it in your mind for a while. This is very likely to shift you to that picture.

With a little practice you may become a "natural" lucid dreamer
