so for the last 2 months or so, i havent had an LD, even though ive been trying real hard (maybe too hard).

before the LD slump, i had 8 LDs and they were all short (3 minutes was the longest, but they average 30 seconds maybe). So during the slump i kept telling myself that when i became lucid again, i was going to relax, not try to fly, and maybe sit down and take deep breaths, possibly feel some textures to stabilze the dream.

Well the other day i became lucid using the nose pinch RC in my dream. i did the RC, then as a backup RC i made a small candle levitate. So now im 100% sure im dreaming. Amazingly, i remembered what i told myself about relaxing and chillin out so the dream lasts. Immediately, i sit on the floor, rub my hands, and start feeling the carpet.

and thats all i can remember


i didnt wake up after this lucid dream.

do you think i just lost lucidity and maybe forgot the rest of the dream? or maybe i did wake up for a brief moment but didnt realize it? I wasnt excited so i dont see why the dream would end.

also, what other techniques are there for stabilizing the dream besides rubbing and looking at hands, relaxing, and taking deep breaths?

if im not mistaken, spinning wouldve stabilized it, but it wouldve also brought me to another location.

maybe i should spin anyway who cares about the location for now, i just want long LD's
