Is it just me or do your confidence decrease when you see these n00bs that have been trying to get lucid for more then a like 5 months? Really freaks me out though.. |

LD count:15

FILD: 1
DEILD: 1
Incubated lucid dreams: 1
what do you mean, like, does our confidence decrease when lots of people that are new to lucid dreaming now, are having trouble getting lucid? i hope there will always be lucid dreaming, it doesn't really scare me, it just makes me wonder if lucid dreaming will die down, atleast for all the new people. |

Just somtimes when i tell my friends about the forum i hope the first post they read isnt "ivv been trying for years!!" lol because that might deter them. |

Different people take different amounts of time. I wouldn't let it discourage me though. Some people, that includes me, have to work really hard for their lucidity. I wish I was a natural like some that come in here and have an LD immediately. |

I agree with Seeker, for alot it takes time, but that doesn't mean that it won't happen. In fact if you have the will you have the way(if that makes any sense). Don't give up, I think the Kn00bipeople, should encourage you, you have alot of support behind you and everyones here to help. Keep trying, and don't doubt your confidence, rest easy that your mind has the ability, and think of it like a movie "what does my mind have in store for me tonghit" going in with a relaxed attitude is key. |

Nope because Ive never had much trouble trying to have lucids. It does however decrease my confidence when people who joined many months after me have more lds than me. |
