Hey, over the past two weeks, i've been really unsure which direction to go in, i finally decided to start concentrating on my dream recall, and too be honest with you, because i've had so little lucid dreams, i have come to enjoy and look forward to normal dreams more, i like analysing them and seeing what they mean, what symbolism they contain, obviously being lucid and controlling is awesome and i would love to do that again in a lucid dream, but since lucid dreams are coming slowly for me i'm really getting into my normal dreams, what do you prefer - Lucid Dreams or Dreams?

      Easy answer, both of them!!!!

While I enjoy having lucid dreams more than a lot of things in life, I also enjoy 'flying on autopilot'. Non-lucid dreams can be pretty incredible. You've got to wonder how your mind comes up with some of the stuff it does
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

I agree. Non-lucid dreams that are really vivid can be pretty incredible, and a whole lot of fun. As I have to get up very early to go to work I have to go to bed really early, so I kid people at work telling them that I have a really exciting night life, but then add that it all happens in my dreams though. If I don't have at least 2 or 3 really vivid dreams a night I feel like I missed out on something. I've found it better to just go to sleep and remember as many exciting dreams as I can, and analyze them, rather than keep myself awake all hours of the night trying to enter a WILD, and then be exhausted at work the next day.

Actually, Lucid_Seeker, to be totally honest, I find myself in much the same boat as you. Though this is an LDing forum, I come here mainly because of my non-lucids, and I actually tend to enjoy my non-lucids more. I'm still working towards regular lucidity, but it's a hard road for me - I seem to have to work very hard at it. But, I enjoy my nonlucids so much, probably more than my lucids.
