Ok, I'm so f*cking angry right now . I wrote a post, a VERY important post, I't took me about 10 minutes to write half of it and guess what happens? The internet browser closes my it self . This is the first time any thing like this has ever happend and I guess that if there is a God, he/she doesn't want you to get this "tech" . But lucky you, I don't believe in that shit so I probably write the tech tomorrow and post it up here.

Don't have the time right now

PS. Uhm, don't expect to much of this, I don't think this is any thing new, it's more of a motivation

EDIT: I've been trying to post for ever..IE keeps closing as soon as I hit the post button..don't know why this would be any different..

(Wait a minute! I might be dreaming!! *Does a gooood quality RC, but finds out that he is not dreaming*..)

The post:
I think I might have a virus or something.. just wrote the thing and pushed the post button when IE closed..well lucky me I wrote it on word.. now it kind of feels like I'm wasting my time, but..

Okey, the thing is that yesterday I really came up with a great idea and well, it's gone now.. I have a really bad memory.. well anyway I wrote down what inspired me:

It's all about your confidence..

So, I've been LDing for about a month now and I'm really in to it, it's so amazing..
Now, I've only told 2 of my friends about lucid dreaming. The first one is really sceptical about this whole thing (he thinks it is harmful). I've told him to check out DV, but he thinks it's a load of b*ll.. well he's stupid.. LOL

(The day before yesterday)
When I decided to tell my other friend, I decided to be more gentle and leave out some of the details. I first asked him if he new what lucid dreaming was, and of course his respond was no. I told him that lucid dreaming was when you knew you are dreaming, in the dream and can control it. I told him that "You can do whatever you want in your dreams, no limits". He told me that he had two of these in the past and he could recall them very well. In those dreams he simply knew he was dreaming but didn't do much to control it. I told him that lucid dreaming was like any other skill and that it didn't take much practice. He got really interested and told me to teach him. I said that he could start with doing the nose-RC anytime he felt like something was wrong or he got the feeling of "Deja-vú". He was REALLY confident and told me that he would probably have one of these lucids that same night because he was thinking about it so much. (I really doubted that he would, but I didn't say anything).

(Yesterday)
I get ring on my phone and answer, guess who it is? He tells me that he had his first lucid and that it was amazing.

The dream: He was walking with me somewhere in the city. He told me that this lucid dreaming sh*t didn't work, I didn't respond. Instead I told him to step a few steps in front of me and do a nose-RC. He did as I said and he realised he was dreaming, but he woke up as he started laughing. He woke up and went to drink a sip of water, went back to sleep and returned to the same dream. He quickly realised that he was dreaming. The rest of the dream is irrelevant..
I was really happy for him and told him that it was a really good first dream. But there was more

Dream 2: He was in some world war scene and he quickly realised that he was dreaming. He thought that because it was only a dream he should have some fun, he took a gun and killed some people.

Dream 3: Don't feel like summoning the dream but it was a lucid..

Do note that I told him that getting lucid is really simple and that I've had several lucids (I am way younger than him so it kind of motivated him). I didn't tell him that a DJ was necessary.. just for those who have bad memory..

I posted this so we could like, come up with a tech. that would work for n00bs. Because it really gets me sad when I see these people that've been trying to get lucid for more than a month ..

Are you serious or is this a Malac like post?

If you are serious, then I am deeply sorry, that is one of the reasons I write out my long posts in Word and then copy/paste.

If you are not serious, I'll be moving this to senseless banter.

Indeed, Word is the way to go. To many bad memories with crappy internet connection...

But hey, here's to ranting, right?!

That's really strange because the exact same thing happend to me last night too. IE just shut down for no reason, then it wanted to send an error report... I can't remember what the error was now, but it's never happened before. Thankfully I wasn't in the middle of writing a long post when it happened...

and that's a good idea to write it out in Word first, then copy and paste. I did that for my book tutorial, but I haven't done it for any other posts... maybe because none of my posts are very long anyway.

It's not the confidence as much as it's the focus. He really wanted one, he probably thought about it all day and what's on your mind when you're awake is on your mind when you're sleeping.

The very same thing happened to me, and many other people, I think. I had had a couple of lucid dreams, but didn't know much about it. One day I looked it up and found out what they really were and I read and thought about it all day, not because I thought it would help, but because I found it really interesting. The next night I had several lucid dreams and I was like: "Wow, it's that easy, I don't even need to read about techniques or anything, I will just do it again tonight!" I spent the entire day doing other stuff and not worrying about lucids and I didn't have more lucid dreams for several days.

In other words, the more waking hours you spend thinking about lucid dreams, the bigger chance there is you will have them.

Well, actually I told him about lucid dreaming maybe 3-4 hours before "bed-time"..

But, yeah. That was kind of my idea, to make a big deal of lucid dreaming so n00bs would think about it all day. I mean if it's a horny guy, then tell him that he can have plenty of sex. Make 'ehm interested

Use Firefox. Everytime I open up IE by mistake, I get a virus.

I got a n00b into Lucid Dreaming and it's been like two months and he hasn't had one. The main differece between him and your n00b, is at first he wasn't interested. He is getting closer though.
I had a strange dream last night...
