I'm not having much luck in terms of lucid dreaming, i'm getting to the giving up stage again and i don't want that to happen, i don't wanna sound like a noob but what personally is the best induction technique, i wanna know how sucessful each is and practice the one that has the highest sucess rate, thanks, all my LDs seem to be short, i want a long controllable one

Hey, don't give up. I just had my first LD last night which was kinda cool. I used a new technique and well, actually I tried it 1 time and it really did
work. 100% sucess rate for me then Nothing before did seem to work for me (I'm not really a patient guy concerning learning of "skills) and I also began to get quite frustrated cuz everyone around me (in Forums... actually I don't have any friends who even know what LDing is) started having LDs like hell. Also I used to forget to rise my awake-awareness, by for example doing RCs every now and then and being sceptic about waking-life.
So yesterday I found this technique http://www.dreamviews.com/forum/inde...howtopic=43342 (thanks again Klace) which is currently being tested. I tried it that night and it worked instantly, although I couldn't sleep that night, but eventually fell asleep and woke up, realising what I had to do (just read the thread). I'll gonna use it again tonight and it really isn't difficult.
You should atleast give this technique a try 1 or 2 nights long before deciding to "give up" which I definitly don't want you to do, because LDing is kinda cool and everyone (I think didn't think so myself until today) can learn it.

If you need to know anything or want to have tips (sure, I'm a noob, but I still may help because I think I'm kinda through witht his theoretical stuff) feel free to PM me. And again, don't give up on it, think about the fun you can have because of LDing or how it could actually even help you.

      Take care and nice dreams,

      Miles

PS: There is no "best" technique I think, there are only good ones and not so good ones. It really depends on the person what technique works fine for one. Some people (like myself) do have problems with for example WILD which is actually said to be a quite sucessfull and effective technique as far as I know. Don't get yourself down.
