Is it possible for me to have a lucid dream if say, I went to take a ten minute nap right now or something?

If you dream during the 10 minutes, you can lucid-dream.

Lost count of how many lucid dreams I've had

Actually I reckon 10 min. is a bit too short.
I mean .. how are going to get to the REM state in 10 min.? Unless you're REALLY REALLY tired or you've slept for like 3 , 4 hours beforehand.

Yes, it is very possible. I had a lucid nap once when I was resting myself ~15 minutes in a library. The dream was extremely fragile and I felt I could wake up at any time, but its graphics were great. It looked incredibly real, but there were many signs that made me spot it was a dream easily despite the graphics.

My only lucid dream occurred during a nap on the couch in my room with the TV on. Don't know how long I was asleep though.

Yes, it's eminently possible. Some of my best LDs have been during short afternoon naps.

You can have about a 10 minute lucid dream, . Actually, afternoon naps are a very potent source of lucid dreams.

I read in a Lucid dream book one time..maybe it was "Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming" by Stephen LaBerge..and it said that nap time is acutally a very good time to lucid dream, although I'm not sure if 10 minutes is sufficient to have one..I have certainly had one during a 40 minute nap though, so keep trying!
