      My Dad (60 yrs. old, cool huh?) has the same problem, an RC will work for him once or twice but then they start to fail.. even when he knows he's dreaming. I keep on giving him fresh ones & they'll work fine until the next time. His thing is to be persistent, for example the "jump up to see if you come back down or not" RC he had to jump in the air 3 times before he started to float away, first two times he just came back down like there was gravity. And he knew (well strongly suspected) he was dreaming.

      I've never needed to RC, as soon as I think to ask myself is this a dream, I just become lucid..... My only Problem is that i really haven't LD for such a long time now, it's probobly been more then a year now. I use to have one almost every night now nothing, its like i became so use to havening them all the time that started to think that i can have them whenever i felt like it and now i cant . Can anyone help my situation?
