I was 18 or 19 when I first read about it and tried a little bit, but didn't work and I figured it wasn't really possible.
Then I watched Waking life when I was 20 or 21, and that got me to try it again... I found DV, joined it, and had a LD a month later. I'm 23 now.

I'm sure you can have time for dreaming when you're older... it only takes a few minutes a day for keeping your dream journal and doing RCs. There are a lot of older people here with busy jobs and lifestyle and they still manage to keep on dreaming... after all, we all have to sleep sometime, right?

I'm 19, in university, and since I've always had very vivid dreams and heard about lucid dream, I thought I might give it a go and take my dreams to the next level.

No, by the time you are an adult you will not dream anymore.

Everybody dreams every time they are asleep long enough to reach a dream state. In a regular sleep period, you have several dream cycles. You just don't always remember them.
How do you know you are not dreaming right now?

wow. I'm "old". 38. I started LDing several years ago. If I had a normal work schedule and a shorter commute, it would be easier. But, I am still able to do it and get a lot out of it.

I am 21 now. I have had Lucid Dreams as far back as I can remember. Being a little child I always had intense nightmares and naturally attained lucidity when my Dreams would turn into a nightmare. I recall being able to intentionally awaken (false awakenings sometimes) from nightmares and also on occasions where I was "floating off" into a Dream that I could decide to retreat from that Dream whenever I noticed something unnerving about it indicating that it was going to be a bad bad dream.

I've always had straightout bizarre dreams so I learned to really appreciate Dreaming since Childhood. I actually started getting REALLY interrested and EXPLORING the possibilities of the Dream World and Lucid Dreaming some 3 years ago maybe. I have been quite successfull some periods and had months-long dryspells in other periods.

Luckily everyone sleeps every night and everyone has got 30 minutes to spare before bedtime to focus on (Lucid) Dreaming so I'd have to say you're never gunna be too adult to dream.
Dreaming is precious and wonderfull and no one could ever take that away from you.

Well now, I started my dream journal in 1995, but I actually started trying to become lucid after reading Carlos Castaneda's The Teachings Of Don Juan, probably when I was about 18 or so, roundabout 1987-88, but without very serious intention and without any form of real instruction. Then in 1990 when Queensrÿche's album Empire came out & I listened to Silent Lucidity (give it a listen if you've never) about a billion times I became way more serious, but still I didn't have many tools, I read The Lucid Dreamer by Malcolm Godwin but I let my attention wane yet again and I lacked the stick-to-itness that is required. Then I got "serious" in 1995, but once again let it slip away unacheived. THIS time I'm deadly serious as a heart attack. I'm not letting go without a positive result. Go me! Woot!!! Oh yeah, I forgot, I'm 37 now.

Im 35, and soon to be 36, I have always really loved my dream adventure's.
I started Lucid dreaming in the mid to late 80's, And I dont plan to ever stop.

I am able to focus on watching for dream signs, while I am at work so that
      really help's.

Every time I get to the point, where I can Lucid dream at will. something come's
up in my life, that causes me to lose focus a little bit. Then I will have a little
bit of a dry spell, but I am always able to come back from it.

My goal is to Lucid dream at will, and have no more dry spells. I know I can do it!

For me, Lucid dreaming is both a spiritual thing, and just a damn good time!

I'm 15 and in highschool too. I've had lucids since I was really young, learned what they were and a few years back and counciously began my journey then. I'm sure that no matter how old you'll get, you'll have time for lucids, after all, most people will make time to sleep no matter how busy they are

I'm 18 and I found out about lucid dreaming when I was 17 in september last year.
Currently practicing WILD. I quote Kaniaz who said it best: "The point of WILD is to piss me off". Though, I have not given up, far from it.

I'm 17, I'm a senior, and I think I found out about lucid dreaming when I was 15. After I was into it for about a year my interests in it faded quite a bit, but lately it's been on my mind again/I've been getting excited about it. It's been forever since I've had a good LD, though.

I'm 15 and learned of LDs last November when I was still 15.
      But mentally I'm 21.

I've been interested in dreams for as far back as I remember. Have had lucid dreams all along but only found out what it was when I was about 16. I'm somewhere in my 20's now.

Seriously started trying to lucid dream about a year or so before I joined Dream Views. So... almost 3 years of seriously LDing.

Although I used to lucid dream often as a child, it wasnt until later that i tired to practice and understand it.

I started on dreamviews when I was 16, I'm 19 now. It feels like forever
