I was 18 or 19 when I first read about it and tried a little bit, but didn't work and I figured it wasn't really possible. |

I'm 19, in university, and since I've always had very vivid dreams and heard about lucid dream, I thought I might give it a go and take my dreams to the next level. |

Lucid Dreams: 13
No time to even sleep, much less dream. |
|
I was 14 when I started, now I'm 15. But I haven't had much success. |
|
Everybody dreams every time they are asleep long enough to reach a dream state. In a regular sleep period, you have several dream cycles. You just don't always remember them. |
|
How do you know you are not dreaming right now?
14 years old started couple of days ago and I wont take any breaks until I master the Skill/Art. |
|
wow. I'm "old". 38. I started LDing several years ago. If I had a normal work schedule and a shorter commute, it would be easier. But, I am still able to do it and get a lot out of it. |

I am 21 now. I have had Lucid Dreams as far back as I can remember. Being a little child I always had intense nightmares and naturally attained lucidity when my Dreams would turn into a nightmare. I recall being able to intentionally awaken (false awakenings sometimes) from nightmares and also on occasions where I was "floating off" into a Dream that I could decide to retreat from that Dream whenever I noticed something unnerving about it indicating that it was going to be a bad bad dream. |

Well now, I started my dream journal in 1995, but I actually started trying to become lucid after reading Carlos Castaneda's The Teachings Of Don Juan, probably when I was about 18 or so, roundabout 1987-88, but without very serious intention and without any form of real instruction. Then in 1990 when Queensrÿche's album Empire came out & I listened to Silent Lucidity (give it a listen if you've never) about a billion times I became way more serious, but still I didn't have many tools, I read The Lucid Dreamer by Malcolm Godwin but I let my attention wane yet again and I lacked the stick-to-itness that is required. Then I got "serious" in 1995, but once again let it slip away unacheived. THIS time I'm deadly serious as a heart attack. I'm not letting go without a positive result. Go me! Woot!!! Oh yeah, I forgot, I'm 37 now. |

Im 35, and soon to be 36, I have always really loved my dream adventure's. |

I'm 15 and in highschool too. I've had lucids since I was really young, learned what they were and a few years back and counciously began my journey then. I'm sure that no matter how old you'll get, you'll have time for lucids, after all, most people will make time to sleep no matter how busy they are |

Well i'm 16, i found out about lucid dreams just before christmas and i joined these forums at the start of the new year, its been awesome, sharing experiences etc, i've always had a fascination of my dreams since i was very young, they always inspired me, made me feel happy, lucid dreaming has too be one of my top hobbies in my life and if i hadn't of found out about it i can't imagine how i would have lived, stressed and depressed i suppose... |

I'm 18 and I found out about lucid dreaming when I was 17 in september last year. |

Currently practicing WILD. I quote Kaniaz who said it best: "The point of WILD is to piss me off". Though, I have not given up, far from it.
I'm 17, I'm a senior, and I think I found out about lucid dreaming when I was 15. After I was into it for about a year my interests in it faded quite a bit, but lately it's been on my mind again/I've been getting excited about it. It's been forever since I've had a good LD, though. |
