Lately I've been wondering about the relation between you and your mind in a LD. Everybody agrees that while you're lucid your conscious mind comes directly in contact with the subconscious mind. But what influence can we have in our subconscious mind through lucid dreaming?

From experience, I know that since I started lucid dreaming I started becoming smarter and generally more aware of things. This could mean that the connection between my conscious and subconscious mind is getting stronger.

I don't have much controll over my dreams yet, but I believe that when you gain controll over your dreams you pretty much gain more controll over your own head. Does anybody have anything to say about this?

We're definetelly going somewhere we weren't supposed to be at and we have the power to change things consciously there, so what do you think can come from this influence? If anyone could share their own experiences relating to this subject, I would also apreciate it!

I can totally relate to this, its so true, ever since exploring lucid dreaming i've learnt so much about myself and my mind, its interesting and i do agree that its like strengthening a relationship between your conscioussness and sub-consciousness, its really cool stuff, its like when starting lucid dreaming your sub-concioussness is shy and avoids contact with your consciousness but as you show your sub-consciouss who and what you are you develop a relationship which opens up more and more possibilites to what you can do in the dream state, you get better as you get to know it better, this probably sounds silly to all of you but its a way of putting it, for example when i'm next lucid i'm going to speak to my sub-consciousness and maybe ask if it could allow me to have regular lucid dreams, it could work, i don't know until i try.

I've noticed that I've gained a slightly different perspective on the world now. Don't ask me to explain this perspective because I couldn't begin to if I tried. It's there though. And in dreams there has also been an indescribable mental shift. My dreams feel different than they used to even a couple of years ago. I think that there is some sort of gentle merging of the conciousnessess, just enough to affect the way I experience both the real and dream worlds.

One of these days I'll sit down and list all the ways I've changed since I've began lucid dreaming. There are plenty.

I have yet to really attempt meeting and tweaking my sub concious. I will eventually but right now I'm just enjoying the ride that lucid dreaming is taking me on.

Yes, it would be really interesting to compare the things each of us has noticed, we may find some shared esperiences.

One thing I've also been noticing (mostly today) is that I've been "seing" my subconscious mind working and organizing information, like, images in my head of things I saw earlier today. Has this ever happened to anyone? I think it may be from having had a LD this morning cause I never experience it.
