Most of the time when I lucid dream I have several different ones in a row, followed by regular dreaming in which I constantly think I am awake, then realize I'm not, and try to wake myself up but can't. It's almost nightmarish....anyone have any ideas that might help? |

im new to this too but i would just suggest trying to make or do something in your dream that would really excite you. try to think of yourself as being a god and then prove it to yourself .. once you truely prove that to yourself you will become so exited that hopefully you will awake. or just try screeming at the top of your lungs lol |

Reality is only a state of mind....
My first lucid dream was when igot lost in a store and i realized i was dreaming, then i tried to wake up but couldn't and convinced myself i wasnt dreaming |

I have been aware of my ability to semi-control my dreams, and I am well aware nearly everytime Iam dreaming that I am doing so. Therefore I really wanted to improve the experience, as usually, when I I am really beginning to enjoy myself, I lose control. |

just wanted to let you know that typically when you achieve a very high state of lucidity in your dreams that your control of the environment and things that happen will is strengthened.. there are different levels of lucidity .. having a low level lucid dreams means that youknow that you are dreaming but still have very little control over your surrounds or the dream events,, i would not fear that if you develope your abilities more that you will not be able to wake... the key is the always think on a positive level and rid yourself of these fears as much as possible. if you achieve a very high level of lucidity you should be able to choose whether or not you awake or stay asleep.. i have experienced this once in a high state of lucidity while dreaming .. unfortunately i havent been practicing my lucid dreaming techniques lately so i havent had many lucid dreams because of that.. but in the dream that i did have with high lucidity i was able to wake myself as soon as i wanted ...and other times have chosen to stay asleep to continue the dream... fear will only hold you back ... free your mind |
