      can anyone explain this

Okay the past three dreams I've had I will realize I'm dreaming. The automatically the dream will stop. I'll feel SP and then...I just fall asleep. That's it. No regular dreaming no lucid dreaming...Nothing, just sleeping! It's strange. Then I noticed I can't even remember what I was dreaming before I became lucid. I used to be able to, but not now. I was wondering if maybe that was the dream. Maybe it was just a dream about being lucid and I was never lucid at all, but I don't see how one wouldn't become lucid after that. That's a huge sign. It's sort of confusing and hard to explain. I hope this makes sense. So does anyone know what's up with this?

ok, i see your problem, right, well you can maybe try a few techniques on the forums to try and stay lucid, like spinning round on the spot etc, i'm going to assume you are normal to SP, you may fall asleep simply because you are not aware enough, maybe you need to put more effort in all together, just try your best, the reason you don't remember any dreams may be because you are more focused on being lucid, it dominates the mind and you seem to forget about dreaming, you do have dreams, its just remembering them, the reason you forget them or can't remember what happened will be due to your mind, i think it automatically sort of shoves it to the back of your mind so is difficult to get it, words, symbols or pictures can trigger them, just review over things in your head, even if it was just the tiniest of things, review it an work backwards from there, hope that helped
