Post Why Lucid Dream: A Reason

      Hello Everyone!

I have not been trying to lucid dream very much because of school, but school is almost over!

When in english class my teacher brought up a good point.

The average life-span of a person is 75 years.
The average time spent sleeping each night is about 8 hours.

That means you spend about a third of your life sleeping!

      To me, that seems wasteful.
However, if you lucid dream you can use that time to be "productive"

Perhaps you are a hard worker, and don't get much rest. Well, in a lucid dream you can go to the beach and relax on a hammock, or fly around in the clouds feeling the cool breeze on your face.

Perhaps you are an A+ student who want to spend more RL time doing fun things or spending time with friends, well it has been said that you can use your Lucid Dreams to study (don't trust me on this though, never tested it 1st hand)!

I see no downside to lucid dreaming,
I thought I'd write this thread to help inspire people to keep on trying!

      Good luck on future endeavors!

PS: I planned to put more time into this OP, but I must sleep! I will probably edit it later.

      Good points!

My main motivation is that in dreams I will be to do cool stuff that I never can do in real life Also, I believe I can use dreams to explore my mind and practise life skills.
