First lucid dream last night. Dont know if it was random or not.

Ok so its, been on my mind a lot lately. I have big noise cancelling headphones. I play binary beats through them as I sleep. Now usually I jus wake up in morning an remember my dream some what clear. But last night I put headphones on a dozed off around 11pm. I woke in a dream of me,outside at night an for some reasom I lookedldown at my hands an,said im dreaming an everything instantly became so vivid an real. I jumped an,felt the feelin in,my stomach as if,i was falling. It was amamazing. An then the dream jus cchanged to a new settin but still lucid. Everytime it changed I,kept thinking I woke up but I did reality checks so I,kmew I,didnt. I almost freaked out at one poimt an wanted to wake up. I could start to hear my bimary beats playin after the 3rd setting change. Then I experience sle paralysis an next thing I,kmew I whipped off the, headphones an was awake. Doe s this soumd lucid? An if so does it sound random? Im tryin again at the same time tonight.

I'd say you were close to becoming fully lucid. Keep practising and tell me more about your progress tomorrow. Nice work!

You were lucid if you were aware in your dream. very simple, isn't it? Now, where you? ;D
      My opinion:
*Lucid Dreams, OBEs, Astral Projections are one and the same.
*There are no levels of lucidity. Quality changes if you apply some deepening.
*Lucid Dreams do not last more than 20 minutes.
      *Wolves are beautiful.

Well, I don't think it's possible to mistake real LD with an ordinary dream. ;D A lot of people do thou. There are so much threads and posts where people describe their Lucid like this: "Suddenly I understood, that I was dreaming, but the dream plot was so good, that there were no need to change it". Real Lucid Dream has no plot, because you are making it.

Beginners often confuse the notion of becoming conscious while dreaming with induced dreaming. An induced dream is the dream of a specific topic, provoked on demand; this does not presuppose consciousness. Moreover, not all practitioners clearly understand what it means to be fully conscious while dreaming. Consciousness while dreaming is always present to some extent, but it is necessary to be as conscious as one would be in a wakeful state. Awareness is not possible as long as the plot of the dream continues. When full understanding occurs that everything around is just a dream, a person drops the dream and starts doing only what he wants to do at that very moment. And after awakening, he should not think that what happened was absurd or unexplainable.

Yeah I wasnt really creating anything besides a broom stick to fly on. I was more of a long for the ride of watever was going on in the setting I was in. but I had full comtrol of my actions. One setting I was in a diner in earlt morning I ran out the doors to do a reality check by looking at a,newspaper from the newspaper dispensers but I couldnt make out the words. Another thimg was I couldnt walk thru walls but I could feel my hand slippimg into them

You should definitely watch this. He goes into detail about different 'levels' of lucidity, including where you become aware of being in a dreaming state but decide not to take complete control.

Thanks for the video. ;D In my opinion low level lucid dream is with very bad vividness or not being able to control anything, but still lucid means being aware. If you are able to control your body or to think, what you want to think, it's lucid. If you doubt that you were lucid or you dream, that you are lucid dreaming it's not lucid.
