Thread: The PERFECT song for Lucid dreams

Also the song higher ( http://radioblogclub.com/open/91510/...7;20-%20Higher )by creed is all about lucid dreams, and how he would give it all away to see the world as he see's his lucid dreams.

But yeah I never relised that song does fit lucid dreaming pretty well.

Wow yeah that's awesome about Creed's "Higher", I heard it many times before but never realized that. Wikipedia says alot of people think its about heaven or drug-induced hallucinations—thats what alot of people say its about at SongMeanings.com—but Wikipedia then goes on to say that the vocalist actually did write it about LDs. Awesome. Too bad that wasn't widespread information so that more people could know the awesomeness of LDs.

Yeah I had heard this song many times before and I loved it, but never knew what it was about, and awhile ago I heard it was about lds, and was amazed, to bad people think it's about drugs, alot of the guys at songmeaning are wrong, or don't go inline with what I want a song to be about, usualy most people think a song is about relationships or drugs

The Song Breakaway by Kelly Clarkson always reminded me of lucid dreams...

It's called "Pure Imagination" by Gene Wilder from the 1971 film Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. (also available in awesome remakes by Maroon 5 and Ford feat. Jori). It's really psychadelic and I think it would also be the perfect song to listen to when trying to prep for DILD or WILD hehe. Listen to it all!! The lyrics are pretty in line with LDs, especially a line that goes "anything you want to do it... want to change the world? there's nothing to it" heheh.

Although I find the Ocremix, Via quite relaxing aswell...

How can nightvision by Draft punk have anything to do with lucid dreaming, it's an intrumental as far as I know

I would mention Where Eagles Have Been by Wolfmother. I don't think it's an intentional link, but it works pretty well regardless.

I said Relaxing, not 'Lucid Dreaming' but then again that's kind of off topis isn't it. But have you heard NightVision? Most of Daft Punk's songs you just don't (Let alone can't) want to get to sleep to, that song is a One Off!

am sorry but there isnt a perfect LD song really for me and i have never really seen the how it helps

one of thge best dreaming tracks, for me at least, is the Prophecy theme from the movie Dune. no words/vocals, just ambient awesomeness...

also, you might try searching for any NUMINA songs you can find, they're all synth instrumental landscapes---really puts my mind into that 'other' state

finally i have found some one else who likes and let alone knows who VNV are and ya legions is mint the live version is ace

that's really cool. I listen to songs that I suddenly think remind me of lucid dreaming now that I've actually learned how to lucid dream and know about it.

ok so i think the best song is Vein of Stars by The Flaming Lips and Spaceship by the Vines. and well any song from Radiohead and Flaming Lips is great for LDs

A song that I really like to listen to while relaxing is Ocean Trance by ATB.

Catching the Butterfly by The Verve is more about lucid dreaming than Silent Lucidity is, and it has a very nice dreamlike feel as well.

I like LDing to the Moody Blues, especially their "On the Threshold of a Dream" album....It's amazing. I also like using other psychadelic rock for this. And, Tangerine Dream is also amazing for things like that.

Most of the themes by Vangelis reminds me of a dreamscape. Especially L'Enfant.

Iunno how many of you like country here but big & Rich released their new CD just today and their one song "High Five" talks about dreaming and stuff.
