      Help!

Why do i ALWAAAAAYS fade away about 10 seconds in to a lucid dream? today i was napping, rubbed my hands together, it felt REAAAALLY weird, but i did it, then right after that i slowly started to fade away, i was like NOOOOO not again, i kept trying to say to myself "i will stay lucid" and stuff like that..but no use, it fades away and I wake up...

      any...tips?

Spining seems to work 90% of the time, something about the movement keeps you in the dream. Just twirl around like a balarina. The more you get used to LDing the longer they last as well. My first ones were like 5 secs long, now they can last 30 mins or so.

      Trahh,

Keep in mind that you only have a finite amount of time to spend in REM, and of that time your longer periods happen early in the morning.

If you experienced the lucid early to middle of night, you have a shorter period of time to not only dream, but then become lucid.

Tips? You might want to give the Wake Back To Bed technique a shot (check Tutorial section).
