      Wet dreams

What information do you guys have on wet dreams(nocturnal emisions) and lucidity? Is it possible to have a lucid dream in which you release semen in real life?

I just found this site today, after following a link from How Stuff Works, and this thread, unanswered, sparked an interest in me. Is there any connection between lucid and wet dreams?
How about those dreams where you're falling, then wake up on the floor and have a bruise on your head?

      sleep orgasms

I have been able to control my dreams for as long as I can remember, mostly just forcing myself to wake up when I was younger. Now that I'm older however, I spend more time controlling the people and what I am doing in my dreams. About the time I hit puberty, I had my first sleep orgasm (since I'm a girl, I can't really compare it to a wet dream). All I know is that I would have full out orgasms, randomly and uncontrollably at first, mostly whenever I was sexually deprived. But since I am a lucid dreamer, I began to control them. I have the ability to bring them on whenever I want, plus I can put whoever I want in the dream with me. I can even have them without doing sexual things if I want, it's just more fun the other way. I don't know if this answers the question, but if guys are anything like girls(about whom they say the orgasm is very mental anyway) then it's very possible to make yourself have wet dreams.

I have learned to conrol my dreams when I was about 9 or10. Since then I have had many lucid sexual dreams some accompanied by an emmission. One person said she could control her sexual dreams as well as her orgasms. That is really great. That person is probably well developed sexually. If anyone can also do this your reply is appreciated. If you have a comment your reply is also welcome.

      Lucid Vs Wet

Well, from what i've read from Dr. Steven Laberg's book, exploring the world of lucid dreaming. Wet dreams and Lucid dreams are totally unrelated. In fact in laboratory study test subjects did not have emisions while having erotic dreams. And in some other tests, wet dreams are commonly not erotic. I personally think there unrelated. but thats just me

      Re: Wet dreams

I have had many problems with trying to have sex in my lucid dreams. Usually I can get to the point of engaging in intercourse in my dream, but they get too exciting and I can never orgasm. I stopped having sex in dreams because I try to stay in it as long as possible. Has anyone had the same problem? If so, did you find a way to overcome it?

I didnt even notice this post but i had a cool experience last night with this i went more into detail in another post.
I started having wet dreams when i was about 15. They were always wet. Now if im not sexually active every day i will have a wet dream after like 10 days. I always let one loose in my sheets unless im lucid and can stop at the last minute ive done this in the past and always woke up too late but last night i avoided the mess. way cool stuff

This is from a girls perspective, and hopefully I wont be over descriptive. Around ovulation time every month my hormones are very rampid....it's only nature, but I have several very sexual dreams, and The lucid one were really weird, the wet ones were not lucid, but very physical....meaning I felt like I was orgasming in the dream and woke up very wet.

      Two ways of defining it...

One, you have an orgasm during a dream.

Two, you come from that same orgasm.

I'd like to be able to have the first definition of wet dreams very much.

Well ok then iv had a "wet dream". I had an orgasim once. I dont remeber any emmisions or anything.

I think the reason why i dont have these dreams is because the bible says not to Lust and i try really hard not to. Espissaly when your a tenager.

Sex in dreams is hard ( ) to perform, I always find I wake up half way through the business... Lots of practice is needed to perfect it (Yay!) people get to a point where sex in dreams is calm yet fun (Unfortunatly im not there damnit!)
People think that you've had to had sex in real life to have sex in a dream, not true! so all you Dungeons And Dragons players still have hope! Just kidding!
And if you think dream sex is bad, it ain't, it's natural for a person to release sexual presure, I would think that with holding all thatt sexual pressure would simply create more lust until your about to explode... Bad choice of words I know...
      Enjoy!

I agree, with DreamCoil, they're called nocturnal emmisions when they happen spontaneously and they happen to everyone. Regular dreamers don't remember it. I don't think there's anything different about it than masturbating. It's probably more natural, and less self-applied (think about it, you could jerk yourself off, or have sex in a dream).

I never knew that practice at a waking-you-up-exciting-stuff can be learned. I'm gonna try that more often.

I have to fully agree with Dreamcoil as well. Thats Exactly how i feel about the whole thing. I remember in like 6th grade them explaining wet dreams how old are you people or where have you been?

1 question wouldn't it be considered lust if you were Lucid. You are fully aware of what your doing(at least i hope so).
