SP can occur randomly and usually when you are on your back, irregular sleeping schedules; naps, sleeping in, sleep deprivation, increased stress, sudden environmental/lifestyle changes, a lucid dream that immediately precedes the episode. Also conscious induction of sleep paralysis is a common technique to enter a state of lucid dreams, also known as WILD.

Like Brandon said, SP is fairly random and will be most commonly when you are laid on your back since it seems like the most natural position. When on your side or on your front its a bit more irregular and it is less likely to happen.

Thank you very much. I do sleep on my back but i will take the rest of the examples into consideration. I do know that it is slightly rare and i prolly dont have to worry. Thanks for the imput.
