      WILD and SP

Yesterday I tried doing a WILD but it was strange. After a 1-second-long HI and HS I was in my dream. However I was still paralyzed, and my heart was at roughly 130 BPM. I forced my wakeup and then I had an even faster HI and HS, getting to another LD but then I could move myself and stuff.
Why this stuff happen? It happened to me in my first WILD also (this is the 2nd)

I've never had dream paralysis before, but I've had a similar experience. Sometimes when I become concious at the beginning of a dream, I'll have trouble moving out of 'bed,' or my eyesight will be skewed sideways. I think it's due to us associating WILD so strongly with sleep paralysis, and this association carrying over into the dream.
