      really annoying

For some time now iv been keeping a dream journel & usually dreams seem to stick in my brain for a few days after iv had them anyway even if i dont write them down in my journel.
Also i have been doing lots of RCs because im determined to go lucid soon!

So anyway last night i went to sleep tellin myself (before i dropped off) that i need to remember my dream & write it down in my journel in the morning!

i dreamt i was on a beach with my boyfriend & id brought a house down on the beach for us to live in :p
i then switched into another dream & strangely enough id actually dreamt i was telling myself to remember my dreams so i could write them down!

how annoying is that, i dreamt that i need to remember my dream when i wake up when i could of done an RC or DILD!

shall keep in touch of any other funny but annoying experiences! lol
      all replys are welcome thankyou!

I got a DJ a couple of weeks ago but have only written in it a few times, my problem is not that I don't remember the dreams but that I have loads of false awakenings, normally from LDs to regular dreams, then I dream that I write down my dreams and use WBTB to go back into an LD, or start another one. Then in the morning when I really wake up, I think that I've already written down my dreams so I don't bother to.

HAHA thats hilarious. I can imagine you one day going to look at what dreams youve had and you pick up your dream journal and its completely blank.

To LucyLC, yeah dream selves are so stupid. There are alot of times where I will realize I'm dreaming but its more of a hallucination type dream so I tell myself, well I won't count this as an LD, so I don't even try to make it a better dream. I ended my about 6 month dry spell 2 nights ago but I woke up right after I realized I was dreaming. It was at the end of REM I think because I had just finished a long dream and as I was waking up I realized it was a dream and tried to hand rub but lost it. You seem to be on the right path so some LDs really soon seems inevitable. Good Luck.

Not once, but twice, I've tried WILDing in my dreams. Didn't work either time. I've also had conversations with DCs about dreaming and once I was at a convention for LDers.

      That mind... it's tricky!
