Maybe your house is haunted haha...

but really it could be vibrations before stages of lucid dreaming.

I used to be so sure my house was haunted when I was a small child, maybe I was right lol. Really though, I appreciate the replys. Thank you to all.
Understanding your physical self is to only understand half of you. You must also learn to understand your dreams to understand yourself as a whole.

I used to love that vibrating feeling when I was a kid. I'd lay myself down to sleep and when I start feeling those sensations I'd image my bed was flying over all sorts of beautiful and strange landscapes

I don't get it as often as I used to anymore, probably because I've grown so accustomed to it.

Its normal though, many people report it. Personally I don't think its hypnagogic... rather, I think its a bodily reaction, the body is preparing for the onset of sleep, and you feel it. For me, it always passed after half a minute or so.

      Just my 2 sleepycents
