I don't agree with either of you particularly. Tell your friend that lucid dreaming can make you a better person. You can play out scenarios that are likely to occur in your life, and practice handling them better. Perhaps there is a coworker who emotionally abuses you, and you don't know how to handle it. Well instead of materializing a gun out of thin air and blowing their head off (which of course feels great), practice having a conversation with them, confront them. |

Man oh man, I went through this "accomplishment" stage a few months ago, and a friend of mine is going through it now. Life isn't about accomplishments. Listening to music, playing videogames, watching a movie...gaining knowledge...you're not "accomplishing" anything. You're just absorbing all this stuff into your mind. And that's what makes you who you are...your individuality is an accomplishment in itself. |

In lucid dreaming you don't accomplish anything? Well there are many things that you can accomplish in a lucid dream like abilities improving, practicing things, and since you are Lucid and Dreaming you are accomplishing more than someone who does not Lucid Dream while they are sleeping. |
