      Hard time with WBTB :\

I'm hardly trying any methods, but I think my mind is stuck on lucid dreaming. I go to bed around 10 or 11, then wake up in the very early morning very tired, go to the bathroom, and try to go back to sleep. But the hard part is... it's taking me like an hour to get back to sleep. This is coming from a person who never used to wake up at all during the night during normal sleep.

Is there something I should be doing? Should I set a vibrating alarm clock to wake me up at an earlier (designated) time? Next time this happens I'll check the time. But it's just really hard for me to get back to sleep even when I'm lying there still.

I reaaly wouldn't worry over this. Most people cite 1 hour as being an "optimal" amount of time to stay up before resuming sleep. You want your consious awareness to re-manifest itself fully.

How long to do you sleep for, before you get up, and are your sleeping patterns stabile?

      Hey Hell,

I think part of it may be that you're a bit too anxious to have a lucid. You might be trying too hard to keep yourself awake and WILD.

Another thing might be the hour at which you wake up - is "very early morning" more like 3-4am or 6-7 am to you? For me, anytime around 4am has been ideal. Getting up too close around 8am makes it hard to fall back to sleep because by then my mind and body will have had enough rest to wake up for the day.

Try playing around with the different times you wake up to WBTB.
