What music plays in your dreams?

It wasn't a lucid dream, but I clearly remember having the song Yellow Ledbetter by Pearl Jam playing in the background of last night's dream. I didn't realize dreams had soundtracks. What songs have played in your dreams?

Mostly love songs. i wake up with the most random songs in my head. like "Livin our love song" by Jason Michael Carol, or something.

Oddly enough, Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries" seems to play whenever I fly in a dream. Haha that'd be awesome. One of the great trombone parts (especially the bass). I remember having "Voices" by Dream Theater in my dream once because they were playing it in a Walmart. The band name really fits that situation (except it was a Walmart not a theater but IDK why there was a stage in our walmart anyway).

haha, sometimes my dreams break out in a musical and everybody starts dancing in a choreagraphy and singing songs that I have never heard before. Suprisingly they have words and music that makes sense. Waking up after that, I always feel amazed at what my brain can do while I sleep.

The song most recently being played in my dreams has been ' In Joy and Sorrow By HIM.' Its an amazing song , and it has a nice warm feel to it.

A while ago the alarm on my phone was some song by The Shins, but that wasn't what I heard in my dream. When the alarm goes off, it starts out soft and gets louder and louder. I was dreaming about a church, and an angel was flying upward. It was flying towards a bright light, and the colours were beautiful. On the background a choir started singing in perfect harmony, their voices becoming louder and louder. The light was getting brighter and brighter as well. Just as they were about to reach the climax, I woke up. The song of my alarm translated into the singing choir, it was pretty cool.

It's quite rare for me to have music playing in my regular dreams, though I like to get some going when I'm lucid. It tends to be orchestrial and 'fitd' with the events of the dream.

I tend to listen to alot of non-vocal music so I get lots playing in my dreams. I comes and goes but will pretty much always play when theres action going on.

I rarely hear music in my dreams but when I do it is always pretty murky and hard to "hear". I don't really hear any sounds in my dreams that much, now that I think about it...

today I heard a guitar solo from a song in my dream, it was far too loud so i turned it down and then somehow merged my own solo without realising it straight away. you know how you can 'imagine' sounds easily in your head - it was just like that only... live? i'm forever making solos up in my head even though I can't play a single chord.

the airship theme from final fantasy 6 always plays in my head when I'm lucid and flying. I've had one LD where I grabbed a mp3 player and made it play a song of choice...the music was correct, but the lyrics weren't even english, but it had the same tone.
