That should be Eyelids in the title lol |

There, tried to fix the title but only the one on the top of the post changed, sorry. |

I suppose I normally focus on my imagination but, if I see the beginnings of hypnagogic imagery.. I'll focus on my eyelids and take a passive interest in the imagery (rather than focus directly on it). |

I say focus only with your imagination, not your eyes. And even then, you want to take a very casual focus. Don't try to stare it down. You can actually strain your eyes trying to "look". All you want to do is "see", not because of potential eye strain but, because there's nothing for the eyes to look at. By trying to look with your eyes you get too actively involved and that tends to make it all go away. The same goes with too heavy a mental focus. Be aware but don't focus. |

Excellent thanks guys. Actually Oneironaught I had noticed about the straining because my eyes would follow patters and cross or look in weird ways and cause my to loose focus on what I am doing. |
