Yes it is possible but you have lighter sleep which makes you more tired in the morning and yes it is bad for you because it makes you act out your dreams. A while back i used to take caffeine before bed (chocolate, coffee) and i would be spitting in a dream and wake up spitting, talking in a dream and wake up talking, and if i was fighting in a dream i would often wake up with a swollen face or bed sheets, pillows, quilt covers all scattered across my room.
So i wouldn't advise this.
