Thread: The Matrix...is R-E-A-L

Okay guys...wrap your heads around this...(you matrix fans out there are gonna love this) Liken The Matrix unto lucid dreaming. Take the people who walk throughout the day...constantly in the work, school, home routine...they're the people who aren't unplugged...now take the people who come to DreamViews (but haven't registered yet) they can be likened unto people who are learning the truth but haven't been unplugged yet...(like how mr. anderson was when talking to morpheus on the phone for the first time). And the newly registered users of course are people who have been "unplugged". DreamViews has over 13,000 members (people who are unplugged) but only about 1,500 are active (the fighters of Zion, who seek to enhance their skills). DreamViews is Zion and the Agents? They're the dream walkers/night stalkers (we've all read that thread and if you haven't click the link http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...=dream+walkers). You can "unplug" your friends or anyone else by using the red pill blue pill speech (introducing them to lucid dreaming). So now beckons the big question...how do you JACK IN? How do you Enter the Matrix? Go to bed/couch/comfy chair and lucid dream...then, you would have entered the Matrix. How do you go to the matrix with your friends? You all should use Lucid Dreaming as a catapult to have an out of body experience and then ren-de-vouz. This world is fictional, the Matrix...is R-E-A-L

Disclaimer: This is lucid dreaming related so I didn't put it in senseless banter, nor am I a diehard matrix fan though i'm a fan of the movies. lol what do you guys think?

P.S.S How do you become "The One"? By enhancing your LD skills and powers until you can LD at will. Anyone know any users around here that can do that? Neither do I but they exist...perhaps...maybe you, reader...will become "The One".

Some believe you can I had a coworker whose uncle was into OBE's and had been doing them for years (self-taught) and decided to teach his niece (my coworker) she learned it and became pretty proficient at it within a years time. She says her and her uncle always conversate in the astral realm/OBE realm and go on trips together. To confirm this wasn't all in her head, I asked her does she talk to her uncle on the phone afterwards or something to confirm all this and she not only said yes, but she also says if she wants to tell him something or vice versa, they'll visit each other in that realm and deliver valuable/highly important information...and the next day they'll act on that information i.e. drive to the bank and deposit my last check, afterwards pickup chinese food because i'm in the mood for chinese tonight. They have long drawn out conversations in that realm...she describes it as being no different from seeing each other in waking life. She also likes to travel fly/teleport to egypt and different places like hawaii, it's really cool. But you know there are others who don't believe in that kind of thing so regarding this matter, i'll quote Henry Ford, one of the world's most richest men in history, a leading visionary who never said the word "impossible", and also responsible for the development of the automobile and V-8 engine (at the time everyone thought breathing underwater or flying through the air without aid was more likely to happen the the development of a V-8 engine)...

Wow that sounds so fun. I want to learn more about OBE's now. Sounds like the most fun you can have in real life -ish.

I wish i had someone who was close enough that i could converse with them about lucid dreaming and OBE's and such and try to do this on my own! But alas i havnt met anyone i know in person who shares my passion!

That would be a freakin awesome multiplayer game!

Yeah, but...in the movie, wasnt the Matrix "fake" and Zion "real"? So, you mean that entering LD is like hanging out in Zion while waking life is the M, right?

While we're pondering possibilities - ponder this. Why wonder if shared dreaming is real or how to prove/accomplish it. We're all already in the shared dream. I hope you see the analogy to the points above.

So who is who? Seeker, Oneironaut ect... the One or Morpheus? Burns, Aquanina, ect. Trinity? Theres too many of us!

Such thoughts have occured to me, I've actually had lucid dreams where agent smith type characters chase me and I know if they catch me they will take a way my lucidity. And in many of my lucids I am followed or have the feeling that I'm being watched.

I don't know who would be who except Oneironaut would have to be Morpheus. Have you ever read his LD's. He's an amazing dreamer.

I had my best lucid the night after watching the matrix.

Yup, that's the way I've looked at it, since seeing the movie. It's a perfect analogy, as ExoByte said.

Hmm, I don't think character names from the movie, such as morpheus, trinity, neo, ghost etc...matter much. Kind of like how the continuing saga of Matrix goes on online...everyone is pitching in and interacting with the matrix, everyone is important.

Thats how i was viewing it also, not as the actual movie but we are just players in the whole scheme, its a really cool thought!

I have been trying this new technique - and in the 3 nights trying it I had 8 lucid dreams, so I would like to think I am on the verge of being able to LD at will

I too have thought about the Matrix when considering LD. Although, I'd be more inclined to think that the dreamworld itself could be compared to being in the Matrix. Although there aren't people wandering around in the dreamworld believing it to be real, I wonder if the Matrix, and the ability to control the world around you, was actually based on lucid dreaming.

Don't get me started on the third movie though, where Neo can control the real world too? Pah!

WOW. I mean WOW. Brillant idealogy! I love the Matrix, hence my name. When i first came here i posted a topic about "Dreamhacking", my view on lucid dreaming is just like hacking the matrix.
