      Hey there,

Your problem is not uncommon. Many people have reported similar things. For you its the 'exorcist girl', for others it's a 'vampire', a 'zombie', a 'boogie man', for some, it's simple the feeling of some oppressive entity that's not really there but still scares you.

I've had the latter in regular dreams, some sort of dark entity without real shape, being there, like an all encompassing presence that would terrify me. Then one night, I became lucid, and that same 'presence' was there. Tired of being afraid of it, i decided to make it manifest itself, using dreammanipulation to force it to take on physical shape (which it did in a sort of 'hellraiser' kind of creature), and then confront it.

As I confronted it the presence turned into a beautifull, non-hostile black panther, and all the fear just flooded right out of the dream, and instead I became very peaceful and calm. I sat down next to the animal and softly petted it, feeling its fur, and feeling a strange sort of kinship to it. It turned into one of my more memorable dreams even to this day, many years later.

Since then, I've never ever, not even once, had the 'dark entity' dream again.

So my advice to you... like MisterHyde said; is to confront it. Make the scary feeling you have manifest itself into something physical, actually bring the girl from the exorcist in your dream, and face it. Fear, whether waking or sleeping, is always at its strongest when we're trying to get away from it.

      Just my 2 dreamcents,

      -Redrivertears-

Dude don't deal with this ugly girl at all. I advice you not to try dealing with her. I usually get the thought in my dreams where jason borhees or someone scary is going to come into my dream. It's just a though after all. Don't give it mind. If you do give her mind, what will happen is that more fear will manifest in your conscience causing her to stay in your head. this will make her even more scarier in your dream. Just ignore her and if she does appear into your dream, Tell her " What do you want?" simply say it with some anger and courage in it. This will give you more confidence and will cause you to actually confront her face to face. After all, what do you think she's going to say next? this will only get her off track causing her to stop disturbing you or even better, She might turn into a cute dog lol and you'd want to hug her. Apparently it has worked for me.

Also: You my friend are "God" in all your dreams. nothing can harm the creator.

I even say to my self as I become lucid within a dream is " I am GOD!! and therefore I'm the creator " (Put feeling into the sentence) This little sentence puts courage in my hands as it also gives me an enormous boost in controlling my dreams.

      Good luck and sweet dreams

Do you get this fear when going to sleep or when you are actually lucid?

Don't think about pink elephants! That's really difficult.

I'd avoid going that far myself, particularly in dealing with an obstacle/nightmare. Better to aim for something like Redrivertears did; find your demon[ess] and disarm them with friendship.

there is nothing to fear in your dreams, you cant be harmend in real life(yes I have been hurt in dreams) what you should do is have a lucid dream and make that girl appear and say Im not afraid and destroy her. remember lucid dreams can get rid of fears to, even fears of lucid dreaming if that makes sense

      ^Probably
