You can die, but you won't die in real-life.

You can't control two spaceships, make a plate of pancakes, adminestrate the internet, be a supporter on Quakenet, make an opticore proccessor and eat a feast for 10 people at 2 minutes.

There's probably a sensual limitation on that. The eyes can only get certain frequencies, and the brain can only interpret those frequencies.
Obviously you can't exceed the limitations of your brain. You can't be super-smart in a dream.

I've always wanted to make a dream last forever. Some people can freeze time in a dream or go back in time. Can you control time so much that you have a lucid dream that lasts a lifetime??

I thought you couldn't change light levels suddenly, or have people managed to do this?

      Cool

1 hour isnt long enough for me.... I once obtained Lucidity and could read though, i think my brain just made up random words and out them into sentences

But i could actually read.. slightly weird compared to what normally happens. I wonder how good i am at writing in a dream..

I've done it, it was a little freaky and there was some time between flipping the switch and the lights actually going out, but it worked (it also gave me my first lucid btw )

I'm going to try and find a new color.
What about a color that we can't see?
Do you know where you are?

That's cheating. Besides, we wouldn't believe you. How would you describe it?

It's impossible, face it. Another colour can't be conceived. You'll just keep coming up with purple.

The question about a new color doesn't make much sense. Color is a part of everything and has a vast range of shades but still is considered finite. When you're dealing with dreams you're trying to add something finite that is a part of something that is infinite in scope and boundaries. The infinity of the dream world simply uses colors as a finite expression of appearance because colors can only go so far. You can't add more to the finite limits of color. It seems really... inconceivable. And I'm the type of person who believes anything is possible.

As for the division of 0, the answer would probably nothing. Just a giant void of blackness, lack of color, feeling, or anything else.

I've also read quite clearly in my dreams before.

      That was brilliant.

      That made me laugh.
I would LOVE to try that though. I'm still waiting for my first lucid, hoping for one tonight, but just imagine what it would be like to see the universe cave in on itself!

Even though technically its sposed to contract at somepoint, in billions of years to come. But i mean to see it rapidly fall apart, disregarding the fact that it would be the end of all things (or maybe not) I imagine it would look simply amazing.

      It'd be awsome!

Question: Why is it suppose to inevitably collapse upon itself? I don't understand what is with the study of a finite beginning must have a finite ending. This brings up the question of a repetitive existence and how we've already had this conversation on these forums an infinite amount of times in an infinite amount to come.

      I've got a good one...

You can't have a 360 degree field of vision, or anything that is more or less normal.

You know I have the same conversation with my mate nearly every week at some point.

It also backs up my theory of Deja-Vu, mind you I don't want to elaborate because it will push this thread off topic. I do see what your saying though.

It's those sort of arguments that I enjoy the most, but I end up never finding any resolve from it! The argument itself may as well be infinite!

Actually, that is one of the most common tricks to achieve. Not only that, but I know of people who turn into a flying orb and see in all directions. Insane, isn't it?

Isn't that freightening to think that existence does repeat itself, though? What the hell would be the point of even having it exist if it only is repetitive? What would even be the point of learning? Why not just have everything remain nothing? I never like thinking about that. What's your thoughts on that? PM me so we don't get an off topic conversation going here.

I think that is impossible, because there really can only be so many colors. The better task would be to find a new sense. Could a person that has always been blind have visuals in a dream? I don't know how you would go about learning a new sense in a dream, but the question is: can your imagination handle it?

Lucids, of course. If we're talking about sleepwalking, then it wouldn't make much sense to discuss 260 vision and flying around blowing people up...

Yes you can. It's one of the funnest things to try.

And I think you can totally find a new color by expanding your visual range of color into infrared or ultraviolet. It might not look like it would in real life but I'm sure that your brain could trick you into thinking it's a new color.

I really want to see what it looks like to add a new dimention of space.
