are you ever scared you aren't dreaming?

Last night I had a sweet LD but it was so real there were a lot of times where I was a little worried that maybe it wasn't really a dream. Even while I was flying and doing the nose and hands RCs which worked perfectly, I still had the thought in the back of my head shit...what if I'm not really dreaming and I'm really running around reality acting completely insane? Like at one point I was floating around on a rooftop and I saw a baby and I pushed it off the edge! WTF, that's pretty damn evil! Then I was kind of terrified that maybe I wasn't really dreaming but I've just gone insane in the real world or something. This came and went and the more I flew around the more I convinced myself it was a dream, but still, it was a little creepy at some points. Anyone else have the same experience?

I definately think it important to be absolutely 100% sure before jumping out a window or something

If you think you can't, you're right.

      yep!

my dad had a decorative false door in his room, which i sometimes used as a portal in my lds to go where i want.
once in a very realistic ld i ran i wanted to go somewhere fast, so i ran in his room to use the door. the moment before i opened it, i thought : what if i'm not dreaming, and i really got up half asleep and went in my father's room to open a false door (that can't actually open)? he'll wake up and SO laugh at me for being that idiotic!

... but luckyly the door opened

Hehehe. And then sometimes you wake up and sigh with relief that it actually was a dream?

I think that for most people, thinking something like, "Hang on.. what if I'm not dreaming.. hmm... huh..." should pretty much confirm that you really are dreaming. Typically in waking life, we never ever genuinely question whether or not this is real. Of course there are exceptions.. even I, a few weeks ago, sincerely questioned my waking reality. That was weird.

Strangely I'm SURE i'm dreaming when I'm awake quite often. Maybe it's cause I've never had a full lucid and don't know what it feels like, but I'll see something strange or illogical and then be sitting there doing reality checks over and over, unable to accept I'm not dreaming. (Or maybe I just really want an LD )

I keep telling myself I'm dreaming, not verbally of course, but by just doing things that you can't do. I usually just go through walls or jump from rooftop to rooftop, then I make sure that I keep those in the back of my head to remind me that this has to be a dream.
