Does LD make you really tired?

Hey guys, just had a quick question...

Does LD make you tired? I've been "trying" to LD for a little while now and I'm always really tired in the morning... I also noticed a few "changes".

The first thing I've noticed is: My regular dreams are becoming more realistic and logical.

The second thing is: I'm getting to make choices in my dreams. Lately, when I'm dreaming, I have certain amount of control over what I do. I understand what I'm doing, but I don't realise I'm in a dream and I think thats why its hard for me to LD; I don't relise I'm dreaming... Is there anything I can do to put the two together?

The other night I had a MILD for the first time, but it only lasted two seconds... :p

Anyways, if anyone can help me, I'd be very appeciated.

lucid dreaming, and or high control in a normal dream actually relax me more. I feel more rested when I wake up D=

personally it's stressful to wake up as if the whole night swept by in moments. Imagine having to go to back to work when it felt like you were there not too long ago. Vivid dreams and lucid dreams make the night feel longer, which is always nice

maybe youre tired because of the techniques you are using? Are you trying to WILD?

Yes Rogue, I've noticed exactly the same thing. I've been at it for a month and a half and am dead tired lately. My dreams have also become much more logical/real.

huh.. when i wake up from an LD i feel excited, not tired, and in a good/happy mood for the rest of the day
It is impossible to live in the past, difficult to live in the present and a waste to live in the future.

think of it this way, if you're trying to LD but don't, what happens? you'll stress yourself out!

take a break from LD techniques and see if that brings in more restful nights. use a more passive approach to lucid dreaming such as a dream journal for now

Ahhh, well as long as I'm not the only one. XD I was thinking about taking a break actually.

I have another question; How do you stay in control of LD once you achieve lucidy? (spelling?)

I just woke up... I needed to sleep in till 11am just so I could stay awake long enough not to fall asleep again. My body feels heavy, and I can't remember my dream, so I don't know if I was Lucid or not.
