When it comes to flying or walking through things, the trick for me is not to focus on the thing itself (like the wall), but rather on what's behind it. I simply try as best as I can to ignore the wall.

In short, turn your attention towards your destination, not the object that's in your way.

Like karate chopping a board, right? I just read that somewhere recently.

For me, there is just "knowing" that something will happen. Unfortunatly, most of the time I don't manage to get that into my head in time. Usually, it's like--Oh I think I'll fly thru the ceiling--Hope it works--Damn, I'm stuck! But if I think, Hey I know that this object is right around the corner, and I run and look, there it will be. It is simple, but not easy, for me.

I think I'll try concentrating on what's on the other side like you said. I hate hanging there with my hands stuck in the insulation.

If you get stuck again try and imagine the wall mealting look away imagine hearing it melt and feeling your hands free up then look back again.

For getting throught stuff try and realize there is no wall, like there is no spoon, right? i meen the walls very much there but its your wall its bound by your rules its your universe think about it like this the wall doesnt bend you do the wall doesnt allow you to pass thru it you allow yourself to pass thru it.
another way is to use x-ray type vision to help yourself see whats on the other side and make your way only to that object dont focus on the wall focus on yourself.

I start with putting my finger though it, like with the finger RC, and then move my arm, and slowly my whole body - works wonders

Yeah, funny huh? I can fly liike a pro but walking through walls seems like the hardest thing while LD'ing o.0

I have never walked though walls, but you could just try to close your eyes and walk forward. You have to remember the wall isn't really there, its just a image and its not real.

if you ever have trouble doing a skill in a lucid dream, a little extra imagination is all it takes. what can walk through a wall? you can think of yourself as a ghost or having powers like kitty from x-men.

sometimes claiming or verbally saying in the dream what powers you have helps with things you have trouble controlling

walking through walls is so essential for me now to get away from a dream situation I don't like!
