      This technique is very easy to do, and is a great way to have Lucid dreams at will.

      ----------------------------------------------------------------

      1. You need at least 5 hours of sleep

      2. You must wake up in an REM break (a brief awakenings during the night)

      3. You should feel tired, and feel as if you can go back to sleep easily

      4. Just lay there in bed with your eyes closed as if your going back to sleep

      5. Now imagine a dream scenario and being in there. You should have a good idea what your scenario looks like.

      For best results your dream scenario should be somewhere your very familiar with like your backyard, street, school, workplace etc.

      Also you should do a simple task like just walking. If you try flying or something like that it will be harder.

      An example would be walking along your street during the day.

      6. You should be imagining your dream scenario for about 20-30 seconds than go on to step 7

      7. THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT Now imagine seeing a Dream Character and telling them your dreaming.

      Example “Im gonna have a lucid dream soon!!! This is just a dream! None of this is real! What do you want me to do to prove to you that where dreaming?”

      Do something simple to prove to your Dream Character your dreaming, like making a dog or car appear.

      Note: You shouldn't immediately talk to your Dream Character once you start imagining your Dream scenario (this is where most people screw up) you should walk around your dream scenario for a while (this gets you really close to the transition from imagining to actually having a Lucid Dream)

      The reason you have to talk to a Dream Character is that if you don't you will end up losing consciousness as your mind transitions from imagining to dreaming. This technique is basically a WILD.

      Basically you have to pretend that your having a lucid dream and it will eventually become a real lucid dream and by the time it transitions you’ll know that your no longer pretending and that your actually having a Lucid Dream.

      you will probably have a Lucid Dream on your first night!!

      Isn't he just. I can have lucids at will almost with but with this technique you can go anywhere your imagination can create with anyone you want. Most of my lucids start off in my old house or around that area or my old school I have tryed this technique but it just doesn't work for me unfortunately.

      I suppose i should just be grateful i can have lucids.

      lucid is lucid why would different technques effect where u go and what u do?

      I think he was referring to the visualised starting points of the dreams, i.e your house or front street.

      infact..im really sorry to dig this up...

      but does this method require a long time to work? or is it really quick? i.e will it require focussing for ages or will it fly past

      Sounds like a great technique Westonci. Thanks for sharing it.

      I really like the part about telling a dream character you are dreaming and then doing something to prove to them that you are dreaming.

      I'll definitely give this a try.

      This is a great technique Westonci, and you did a great job of explaining all of the steps.

      I tried this several times last night as I woke up several times from my dreams, and had a short lucid dream the first time I tried it, with all of the other times resulting in vivid dreams.

      When I began visualizing myself jogging down a road that I jog on with my dog almost every day I found myself suddenly being only about 1 foot tall, but very stocky.

      I encountered several dream characters who I tried to convince that I was dreaming, but forgot what most of them were.

      The one I remember though was a grasshopper that I was trying to convince that I was dreaming by making it rain, and then making the sun come out.

      Repetative thought of the scenario through the day makes up for the couple of times a night you do it.
      I set my Saltcube timer for 30 mins on my PC during the day and play the scenario through my head for 30 secs or so.
      Imagine how much this speeds up the mental memory of the scene when you are ready to do it and also the ease of picturing it when you are half asleep.

      That's a great idea DreamChaser.

      The more a person imagines something during the day, the easier it is going to be for them to imagine it when they are half asleep, and the easier it is going to be to become lucid while imagining it.

      This idea of yours is similar to doing reality checks, only much better.

      A person could either do this everytime a timer goes off like you are doing, or just do it whenever they would normally do a reality check, such as whenever they enter a room or change locations.
