      Returning to LD's

      Hello

I have been here before, this very website, when i read about Lucid Dreaming for the first time 3 years ago. I read all the information on the main page and that very night had the mjost vivid dream that i have had for a long time. I saw this as a sign and it spurred me on to continue my lucid journey and sure enough i had some great LD's!

Then i lost track, stopped thinking about lucid dreaming and of course, they dried up. Now i really want to return to the fantastic dreamworld which i loved so much.

So has anyone else had a long break then decided to return to LD's? Any pointers on how i can regain my dream conciousness?

      Thank you

      Welcome back Lewis!!!!

I think that coming back to LD, should be the same as starting. Start writing a dream journal, and then practice the basic induction techniques: Reality Checks, WBTB, and MILD.

      I agree with dodobird.

I took almost a two year break and had to start from the beginning basically doing just what he recommended and perfecting those methods that had worked for me in the past.

      Glad to have you back!

I just started again after a couple years off. I've found it pretty easy to get back into the groove. Re-learning is a lot easier than learning.

My life has changed a lot in the last couple years. The hardest part for me has been readjusting my old techniques to fit my new lifestyle.
