the other night i woke up after i had just finished dreaming (didnt go lucid in the dream) and i thought what a perfect opportunity to attempt a WILD. so i got up read a little about lucid dreaming (it supposedly helps) then got back in bed about 10-15 minutes later. i lay there allowing myself to relax and concentrating on slipping back into my dream. a short while later i started seing flashes which is a good sign. the flashes soon stopped and i felt like i was flying. this is where it got interesting. i felt as if my bed had dissapeared from beneath me and i was just floating there. i layed like that for a while im not sure how long. when nothing happened for the longest time i opened my eyes thinking that my dream eyes may have been closed but no. i was in my bed. did a reality check just to make sure. now it was interesting beacause the last time i attempted a WILD the feeling of flight signaled that i had fallen into my dream. this time it didnt. is that a usual experiance when attempting to WILD?
