      Wow... What *was* that...?

Last night I was pretty tired and knew I could sleep in toady, so I decided that it would be a perfect time to play with sleep. While I was lying in bed, I closed my eyes and imagined rocking back and forth on a boat.

That’s about when something interesting happened…

I’m lying there and all the sudden I have the feeling like I was falling. I could hear a dull ringing and see nothing but darkness. Then my eyes started going spastic! Like I could feel them darting around, making arbitrary movements. My eyelids also twitched now and then, uncontrollably.

But darkness reminded, no dream came. This died down after probably 7-15 minutes, then it was nothing. (Felt like I was lying there with my eyes closed; I wasn’t asleep)

Curious, I tried this again, and it worked again! I did the exact same thing, about a half-hour later, and got the exact same results.

I find that pretty easy to do… man oh man, if only I could use that to get into a LD…

So does anyone know what that was? Any tips or pointers that could help use this for LD’ing?

      Thanks,
      Nick

Nick, that sounds like a WILD. Have you read the tutorial on MILD and WILD yet?

Did you attempt to open your "eyes"? One wild I had was a lot like that, it ended in darkness, just like I was laying in bed awake. When I opened my eyes, they opened into a lucid dream.
