      Taking Advantage

I have been noticing since i have been dream recalling that mostly every dream i have been having is based on something i did, played, or watched that day. Only 1 out 5 is somthing else. Since i know this could i take this to my advantage in becoming lucid for almost knowing what my dream is going to be about? Like if im weilding a sword with rune full then im dreaming(runescape). If im going around as a stick figure shooting people with names over there head well yea im dreaming (stick arena -this was last nights dream- ). I have an army with nights catapaults and archers that to is a dream (Stronghold pc game). What i am having trouble with is judging this from reality becuase its so dang fun. I seem to be caught in my dreams being so fun i cant do it, does can anyone have any advice for this? Im gona try doin nothing but cleaning tommarow to try having a boring dream but it may ride over from todays so please help.

Turning videogames into lucidity is my most difficult obstacle to lucidity. False awakenings I've mastered, and fish I am working on. But videogames...? Hard. Especially on a game that receives updates, or a game you haven't beaten. How can you judge if you are dreaming, or merely playing a new level? I mean sure, perhaps it's abnormal for Bart Simpson to swirl down a Super Mario Galaxy black hole out of Forrest's shrimping boat (not kidding, this is last night's dream), but how does one reality check this mash of media?

I suggest reality checking at the beginning and end of these activities. I don't have the patience to test it out before posting, but it's worth a try. It'll latch you into lucidity in the transition between dream scenes.

Hi, I think I can safely say that Ur very lucky to have a receptive mind like that. Y not simply do an RC whever U clean or whatever U do during the day...link it with RCing. I don't mean to quash Ur initial idea of 'recognizing' the difference between what U did during the day and what U dream at night...from past experience that never happens because when we dream only one thing remains...'programmed actions' not logic or reasoning... like a light fails and U do an RC which is a 'programmed action'.
