erm not if u spend ur whole time sleeping and spending new tricks to see which LD trick works for you instead of going out..and i dont think having an intreast makes you a geek...being'' geek cool whatever is a new age generation americans created beats me why must have been that most of them were 85 percent not smart and the other 15 percent of thier population being smart which makes the not good ppl prying on the good ones ''okay what i did just now is called geek'' ...you should see other peoples intreasts its even worse than this..well not worse but yah..theres groups for everything today...theres groups for animal lovers tv show lovers math ppl lovers chess ppl lovers or what ever that may sound low to u..but if u feel your self ur a geek then u must be one ...sorry

Ohh, I like the checklist O'nus! I have a slightly different one though:

1.) opera buff? check
2.) band nerd in high school? check
3.) spends way too much time on computers and forums? check
4.) wears ugly Buddy-Holly-esque glasses? check
5.) says "oopsy-daisies"? check
6.) picks out discrepancies in either STAR TREK, HARRY POTTER, or LOTR and immediately reports said discrepancies to appropriate forum? check
7.) no love life (out side of chat )? ummmm, check

Ok, this list wasn't supposed to get past, like 3, so I'm gonna quit and go cry now................................

Well.......I really think that a geek is a person who has tons of knowladge on cubjects...Like a computer geek would be really good with computers....So...maybe some people here are computer geeks, Lucid dream geeks, ect...I think they're lucky..xD...

Our Living Language Our word geek is now chiefly associated with student and computer slang; one probably thinks first of a computer geek. In origin, however, it is one of the words American English borrowed from the vocabulary of the circus, which was a much more significant source of entertainment in the United States in the 19th and early 20th century than it is now. Large numbers of traveling circuses left a cultural legacy in various and sometimes unexpected ways. For example, Superman and other comic book superheroes owe much of their look to circus acrobats, who were similarly costumed in capes and tights. The circus sideshow is the source of the word geek, “a performer who engaged in bizarre acts, such as biting the head off a live chicken.” We also owe the word ballyhoo to the circus; its ultimate origin is unknown, but in the late 1800s it referred to a flamboyant free musical performance conducted outside a circus with the goal of luring customers to buy tickets to the inside shows. I'm on the edge of that definition - I don't consider myself to be socially inedept, but certainly not exactly the life of a party

I'm a geek. No job, livin' with the folks, no chick, not a whole lotta dough.

There's worse things in life. Like going potty and not having any toilet paper. Plus no one's home, so you gotta waddle to the upstairs bathroom, but then the doorbell rings and the person can see through the frosted glass that somebody's inside, so you can't ignore that person, but still... your crater's startin' to itch...

i think we saw in the personality test in the lounge that the vast majority of the active people on this forum are either moderately or slightly expressed introverts... now being an introvert by no means labels you as a geek but it's a big step in the right direction. ohh ohh ohh and here's my list!
