Having trouble remembering to do RC's

I'm not lazy, I do them often. But, it's usually signs on my PC or phone I made that tell me to reality check. I think I've done about 20-30 today.. Is this too much or not enough? haha

Wow, I can't imagine doing as many RC's as you guys have done. With the kind of RC's that I do, I'd have to be doing nothing but RC's all day. Mine involve

      - Asking, "Am I dreaming?"
      - Finger through palm check
      - Hold nostrils shut check
      - Hand check
      - Text check
      - Looking for anything missing
      - Looking for anything extra
      - Looking for anything malformed
      - Remembering what I've been doing in the last few minutes
      - Asking, "Who are these people?"
      - Looking for specific dreamsigns

And finally concluding, "Because _________ (results of the above checks), I am/am not dreaming." And then, "I am not dreaming now, but when I do dream, I will be lucid, and it will be awesome." Then I imagine exactly what I would do if I found I was currently dreaming. So you see, it would be highly impractical to do 50 of these in a day.

What many here do is to do a reality check only when they go through a door, or see a dreamsign, etc. That seems to work for quite a few.

I just either look at my hands, rub them and hold my nose shut. Then I think to myself, "I am not dreaming"

I hope I'm doing this right!

When i done reality checks i thought i had alot. I used to count my fingers, (very reliable) flick a light switch, look at my hands, observe my surroundings while asking am i dreaming.

But there was no way i could keep up the rate of reality checks i was doing with the list so long.

I have a more effective method of attaining lucidity now which is much easier. This brings me lot of success when i can be bothered to use it.

I'm confused about your technique, but very interested. I'll try this sometime

At the moment I'm planning on a DILD, because it seems the easiest way lol

I think most people are confused about it. There is only one person i am aware of who understands it and that is awoke.

It is really difficult to explain.
