It's sleep paralysis. Lots of WILDers describe exactly that. Try just letting it happen and not waking fully as you bounce back, maybe you'll enter a lucid dream. |

Wikipedia has a page on myoclonic twitches. Be warned, though, it deals mainly with much more severe cases than yours. Worth a look, unless you're a hypochodriac. Your case is absolutely nothing to be concerned about. |

I have this happen a few times a month myself. But, from reading this thread, I don't understand why my whole body bounces so, because I sleep on a special mattress without springs, and you can't bounce on it, it's pretty solid... |

I sleep on a hard couch, it feels like im floating in the air and then fall down to the bed and wake up because i hit the bed so hard. Freaky! |
