This has happened to me once. It really confused me for a while until I actually started remembering what happened. It was like you said- I had a false awakening, then realized I couldn't move. That's what I thought it was, anyway. |

i posted a thread about this a long time ago but i still get these all the time. i'll find myself in bed, nosepinch, find out im dreaming, and then despite my greatest efforts my body refuses to move, like it's paralyzed. |

but if i were under sleep paralysis, how could i RC nosepinch and find myself still breathing? unless, it's really a borderline thing where i'm technically awake and in sleep paralysis but actually still partially dreaming. the thing is i get these a LOT, at least a couple times a week. |

hahaha no i am completely clean, i hardly even drink these days (2 swigs of whiskey gave me a hangover. TWO SWIGS) and if anything i get too much sleep |
|
I get these a lot, but they are nightmarish-related. Usually in my dream I will be in the same bed I am physically sleeping in and some external-invisible force attacks me. I immediately open my eyes to find myself paralyzed and hazy, still frightened and struggling to register what just happened. |

I had one of these the other night. I was hearing like a dog in my room (I don't have one) and couldn't move or even open my eyes to see what it was. Once I realized that I must be dreaming I was ok and flew through the ceiling |

happened to me last night. frustrating. |

I've only had it happen once, but it was definately a false awakening. I was lying in bed and heard the door open and my hubby talking to me. I couldn't open my eyes, talk or even get up. All I could do was sort of lean off the bed a little bit. I could open my mouth, but no sound would come out. |

This used to ALWAYS happen to me. EVERY night I was WILDing. |

i've had some of my most amazing dreams (in terms of control, vividness, and things going as i want, and being able to do stuff) as a result of false awakening and then actually being able to, yknow, GET OUT OF BED. |

I am a newbie to LD. |
