      haha... just kidding.

Like previously stated, I take lucid dreaming as an amazing form of entertainment. It's more of a hobby to me, so it's nice to have something that you really have to dedicate yourself too. Plus it's fun to be able to remember your dreams, sometimes be aware, and live out your heart (and mind's) greatest desires.
You do this every fucking time.
      No sweat.
      No tears.
      No guilt.
You do this every fucking time.

I never "took it up", as you said; I've always had them. I can say, though, that I *keep* having them because I want to know who I am on the truest level.
That, and it's always nice to be really good at something.

I've always been fascinated by states of consciousness and i think having lucid experiences brings a whole lot of joy to my life. I think what i'm really looking for though is insight, spiritual and philosophical. Oh, and predicting the future, having visions; would be pretty cool too.
The journey is usually more rewarding than reaching the destination.

Variety of reasons here! Nifty stuff...

I've always had very vivid dreams, many have stayed with me for years despite not having written them down. My motives originally were of the escapist variety, but I've changed over the years and I'm trying to break into the self exploration parts of LD.

It's hard for me to turn down an oppurtunity at flying, though, as I've gotten quite good at it, and it's ridiculously fun.
