My Girlfriend Indirectly Kills my LD's.

Well, this isn't neccesarilly true, but sometimes I talk to her on the phone for hours before sleeping, and for some reason, I'm NEVER able to get a LD after talking to her. I mean, I love her and all, but... damnit love! Always getting in the way of my subconsicous hobbies.

Anyone else have a problem in which you sometimes lose sleep or think about a person or topic too much, and it affects your dreams?
You do this every fucking time.
      No sweat.
      No tears.

I've never had an adverse affect (that I've noticed) from talking to my other half before going to sleep. Sure, he affects my dreams in that he's in them a lot, but other than that I haven't noticed anything.
If anything, my recall has gone up.

Well, I've certainly seens people saying that emotions can affect their recall and LDing... In fact, most people who report it say they usually have LDs after not so good situations. Maybe your subconscious tries to make up for it?

For example, on both my first and second LDs, I was sick. So I think I can trace a relation here

But what I'm saying might also be completely false, so don't cite me or anything

I know you said not to cite you, but...

Anyway, that probably had more to do with having a disturbed sleep than anything involving emotion.

I know what yo umean, but you must agree that important factors cause emotional stress on us. I, myself, become the true form of anger when I'm sick - I really dislike being sick. Actually I recall another LD of mine, when I had caught a cold for the freezing weather, and I dreamt I was at a warm beach.

Yes, emotional stress can affect sleep, but I thinks dreams are much more influenced by it.

I'll trade you my dreams for your girl =P

As long as she's good looking, that is.
