Thread: Paradoxical question...

There was a story about a chinese that had a dream. In his dream he was a butterfly. When he was awaken he said:

'I was a butterfly in my dream.'

The question he asked was:

'Am i a human that saw himself as a butterfly in a dream? Or am i a butterfly seeing itself as a human in a dream?'

Well..I know this might sound like a stupid theory but..I think hes a human dreaming he is a butterfly,because I dont think butterflies dream,lol

EDIT: Actually do they even sleep beheheheh,sorry Im being lame but really..butterflies do not have the ability to think or reason(mabey very very little,but its more instinct) so if a butterfly would in some strange way be able to dream and dream he was human would he suddenly become intelligent and know the way of human life? lol..lame

that is just to stupid for me to comment on. it's just like that "What is the sound of one hand clapping?" that's the stupidest thing I ever heard. one hand can't clap, because clapping is "to strike the palms of the hands together with a sudden explosive sound, as in applauding." these "riddles" probably came from some old guy who got bored and made up a bunch of crap to make people think he's smart, because they are to stupid to realise that there is no point wasting time on these "riddles".

the smallest and most insignifigant in life are often the most important in the 'dream world'

i hope one day you all get to see the massive craziness embodied in a single insect when on hightened perception hehehe the smallest creatures can wield ultimate power when one is in the right situation

so...I think that not only are you a butterfly, we all are, and everything else

I've just started looking into this. Was able to make modifications to my human form this weekend. Think I will stick with that for a few more weeks before attempting anything as radical as a butterfly!
