WILD Attempt Last night, tell me how I did!

So, I've never attempted WILD before, and I didn't really know HOW to do it, so I just went out on a limb and tried it.

It was around 1:00 am when I went to sleep for the first time, this means I had not slept before hand. I'm pretty sure that's an important thing I missed, but I could be wrong. So, basically, I lay down on my back, hands intertwined laying on my stomach. My left leg is straight out and my right leg is at an angle. I'm perfectly comfortable, so I close my eyes and start breathing.

I breathe in through my nose, and out my mouth. I count in my head, and I start to relax. I reach 150, and my fingers feel a tiny bit numb, but nothing really yet. I've had itches and stuff, but no real big desire to move. So, I count up to 250, and by this time, my breathing is minimal, and my hands, feet and thighs are numb. I start hearing a high pitched ring, and a few different things, but I'm not seeing any hallucintions. At this point, I"m waiting to fall into a dream state, and my eyesight goes wack. It keeps getting largely in focus, and then blurry.

After a while, I get a few muscle spasms. My leg jolts, and then my shoulders start too. I get a few vibrations, and then my eyelids start going nuts. They vibrate, and I'm getting a little bit curious if all this should be happening. I can't take it anymore, I open my eyes. I stretch as though I had been sleeping for 5 hours, and look at the clock. I have spent 50 minutes in the Wild attempt.

Evalute my attempt, and give me some pointers please!
You do this every fucking time.
      No sweat.
      No tears.
      No guilt.
You do this every fucking time.

AmazeO XD, it was a great attempt and all the signs of a WILD happening were there.

My only pointer would be to try WILDing after 3 or 4 hours (it would have been interesting to see how much further you would have gotten).

Wow, it sounds like your almost there from what I've read.
I also tried my first WILD last night and failed. I got numb hands and feet with an intense urge to move in about 10 minutes, felt kind of like my toes might snap off if I didn't move them. I managed to resist the urge for another 40 mins before giving up because nothing else had happened. I also had trouble counting, I'd drift off after getting to around 20, forget where I was up to and start again.
So I'm quite envious of you

The reason its best to attempt a Wild after 3 - 4 hours of sleep, is because your more likely to do something known as "REM Rebound". REM Sleep is when you have your more vivid dreams, (the REM stage occurs around every 90 minutes) so attempting WILD when your close to, or right after the REM stage, will allow you to much more quickly jump right into a dream, which means less time spent trying, and by extension, you should be less likely to get bored of it and give up.

So, if you can, try to wake up after 3 - 4 hours, and then attempt WILDing the same way, and see if you have anymore success.

That's a great attempt! You're very close by the sounds of things. Just follow everyone elses advice and try after sleeping for a bit first. It's also okay to itch if you feel itchy, just as long as you then keep your mind focused.
