      Things to do while lucid

Hi, I was just wondering if you guys could give me some good ideas of things to do while lucid. If there is another thread for this please send me a link but otherwise I would really like some good ideas. I've already flown and done some basic stuff like that but I am interested in doing deeper things like traveling time and exploring my subconscious. If anyone has any cool ideas I would love suggestions. Thanks.

getting to know your DCs is usually quite interesting
EDIT: Also, changing the sun to blue and running around a public place screaming about the apocalypse is an idea I had

Everything makes sense once you stop thinking about it

That's a pretty good list of stuff to do, and a couple of links from that with more ideas too. You shouldn't even need any more though if you're actually trying to do them cause that will take a long time
Just leave everything up to your imagination.

Or even better, check out the lucid tasks of the month here:

Heres a few of my Personal Goals during a Lucid:

      • Go underwater and breath, see what happens
      • Pull my reflection out of a mirror so that there is 2 of me
      • Watch an Entire 30 minute TV Program and see if it makes sense
      • Walk through a wall (as good as I am, I can't seem to do that yet)

So theres a few things you can try if your looking for something to do.

Here is some things I'd like to do or have done in dreams before.

      Have achieved:

      Create Electricity/Fireballs in my hands
Walk through objects (Only achieved in a non-lucid. It gives the strangest unique feeling, you can actually feel yourself passing through the object)
Move objects mentally (Do it all the time. Almost every single dream I ever have)
Stop time (Only achieved in a non-lucid, haven't actually tried in a lucid)
Watch a new episode of a tv show, an episode that hasn't been made yet (Did this in a non-lucid and it was fantastic, I watched the first episode of Heroes Volume 3. The storyline was quite odd but it did fit well with the universe of the show. It involved Peter protecting this new guy from Sylar, he was taking him through time to meet himself in different time periods and would then fly up into the atmosphere to escape Sylar when he caught up with them.)

      Haven't achieved:

      Morph myself into someone/something else
Fly straight up really fast and try and go to the moon or another planet
Create people you know and chat with them, esp celebrities (Always fail due to insufficient control, sometimes I can create people I know but usually someone else I know but didn't intend appears and refuses to talk with me properly)

Pickup a phone and call a random number (thats a classic)
I recently thought about what would happen if you called your own number. Could you have a conversation with yourself?(of course you can, it's a dream) ... imagine if you were awoken by your RL-phone ringing

Pay attention to detail of everything around you, to the fine detail. Note the geometry in the dreamscape.
Try talking to inanimate objects, see if they communicate to you.
I play broccoli with checkers every night.

I did call myself a few nights ago and that was really interesting. Do you guys know other ways of learning more from your subconscious? Are conversations with random dream characters good for this?

Have you ever had a dream, Neo, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?

Hmm, I've gone underwater and breathed. It's just like normal only you don't have to worry about drowning.

Walking through walls is definitely a harder one; try going through windows or fences first, and get your hands to push through before just trying to walk through. After that walls will be easier.

Last night I changed gravity (for myself only) and walked on the ceiling. That was pretty neat.

Other stuff...fireballs/spells, flying, going around through space and at the bottom of the sea, teleporting, telekinesis, transforming my clothes/appearance, using DCs like little puppets. All pretty standard I think.

A few years ago i used to have these recurring dreams where I would suddenly feel REALLY baked out of mind randomly, without smoking or anything. I was always in really innappropriate place to be high, like school or work or dinner with my family, and I would be struggling to hold it together, and people would start asking what was wrong with me. They were really frustrating dreams, I didn't like them.
