Lucid dreaming and changing body image

      Hey guys!
They say it's good to visualize what you want to look like if you're trying to loose or gain weight. The thing is sometimes it's hard to picture yourself with a different body.
So, I was wondering if it could be easier to do it in a LD while looking at a mirror, to help me get a sense of what I would look like with a little more weight.
The only problem is I've never done this, so I don't know if it's possible or if I'll be able to have at least some control over the reflection in the mirror. So please, if any of you guys has experience in looking at mirrors while lucid, I'd love to hear what you have to say and your experiences, or even if you've ever tried to change your body image this way.
I'd also like to know if you think this could be of any help in gaining or losing weight, since LDs deal with the subconscious mind.

      Hugs to everyone!

PS- Long time since my last post! Feels good to come back here every now and then

I've looked in mirrors while lucid and I normally appear younger with different hair and once I also saw myself as male. I also recall changing what I was wearing in a mirror reflection.

I do think it could be a great motivator to see what you might look like with more or less weight. Whether or not this would be enough of a motivator to get your subconscious on board.. I can't say.. but I don't see how it could hurt to try!

Ok, thx for your contribution! I'll make sure I'll try it when I'm able to get lucid. I almost got lucid right in front of a mirror tonight, but the RC failed! (probably had my nose stuck on my pillow... )

I recently started working out, and the thought of my ideal self has been running through my mind constantly during the day. And as a result, one morning, I was drifting off to sleep and I was once again thinking about how I wanted to look. Since I was on the verge of REM sleep, the actual image appeared in my mind giving me a inspirational, in-depth look at my future self. Dreams can be very useful for this.

Whenever I'm LD'ing I always look for a mirror. A mirror for me is like a magic wand.
I look at my LD reflection, then proceed to do whatever alterations that I can remember to do.
      got nitro?

I found that mirrors really work, in a LD when I looked myself through a mirror I looked much younger and had a different haircut.

I tried to clone myself and it worked, I just imagined a clone of myself behind me, I closed my eyes and it appeared, I imagine that mirrors make body changing much easier too.
