      Too Lucid

Ever since I started regularly LDing, my dreams have gotten really boring. It's like I have too much control... Nothing happens unless I make it, nobody talks at all, no one says or does anything impulsive. I have to orchestrate everything.. while I'm glad that I can control everything that well, I can't consciously make up every single little thing that happens. I usually strain myself and end up waking up.

      Anyone else dealt with this?

I certainly haven't, but perhaps stop trying to induce lucid dreams for a little while? If you're a ntaural LDer then i'm not sure what you can do, but perhaps just go back to dreaming regularly for a few weeks?

I've had this happen to me a lot. One time, I became lucid in a dream, I was standing on a street corner, I kept waiting for something to happen. I kept saying to myself "Something's gonna happen, something's gonna happen" but nothing did.

That is, until I went back to normal dreaming and walked down the street and found an army outpost, with soldiers that were fighting something like ghouls or zombies or something and then I became a general for some reason and had to lead a strikeforce into the enemy's base.

Ah Carl.. if only I had your problem!

I really don't have any advice other than what's already been given but I'd love to know what method you used to regularly start LDing.

If you feel you've got too much control, and cannot get anything to happen, then you've got little control

That must be great that you can control everything but i can imagine it will become boring because there is no element of suprise. (you know everything thats gonna happen)

Ha. That sucks. Whether that's a demonstration of true lucidity, or a curse of half-lucidity, who knows? It's just as rookybeats said...

Try running somewhere, or flying somewhere. I'm sure if you go far enough, or fast enough, something interesting will happen. Run to China. If you have absolute control, then it should be no problem to teleport yourself to an alien planet, in a bustling city, underwater, or all three combined! Add enough stuff to your surroundings, and something will happen, I guarantee.

Nothing happens in your normal surroundings (house, neighborhood, store, work) because you don't expect stuff to happen. So go somewhere else, as already said.
