      Wild Question

Do you HAVE to sleep 3-4 hours before attempting in order to successfully achieve a Wake-Induced-Lucid-Dream?

I can't seem to get past into deep sleep paralysis, but I"ve only tried without sleeping first.
You do this every fucking time.
      No sweat.
      No tears.
      No guilt.
You do this every fucking time.

Technically speaking - no. However it usually takes a lot of long, hard work for a short, low-level lucid dream. It takes over an hour to get to the first REM states, and even if you manage to stay conscious through that, the first REM states are short and low-level. Sleeping for 4-5 hours gets you directly to the longest, best-quality REM periods so you're WILDing directly into those.
