      Lucid Acid Trips?

If you become like some ulta-badass-lucid-dream-guru-masta-guy do you reckon it would be possible to control drug induced hallucinogenic trips? I've never tried acid anyway so don't get worried, but that would be a really cool thing to do!

i think same as you. i think that a thing in LSD just make the LDing better, i don't remember what substance it was or what it was doing, but almost all other drugs jst made it worse.

With regards to Xallie's response, I've heard that an herb called Calea Zacatechichi makes lucid dreaming easier, and dreams overall more vivid. It supposedly tastes horrible (as a tea), but the good thing is that it doesn't affect you much while awake, except for possibly some calming effects.

With regards to drug use within dreams, well I'm not sure. I haven't done drugs of any type in dream or in reality. I rarely even take asprin

I'm not sure you understand how lsd works, it doesn't make you hallucinate, and even at high doses, I would still consider the average person lucid, albeit in an altered state.
As far as lucid dreaming as a skill affecting your trip, it would be useful for preventing negative experience, and possibly in using lsd as an introspective tool for personal growth and change. It'd be similar to meditation.
And for lucid dreaming being enhanced by acid, well good luck falling asleep before you come down, and even then, good luck falling asleep any time soon after.

There's this one drug called Salvia Divinorum (spelling?) it's legal, and it gives you trips that last 15 minutes, but distort time extremely. People that smoke high doses report having lived the entire lives of other people, day by day for the whole life!

I've wondered if you did that and became lucid, a 15 minute lucid that lasts years! That would be pretty fun. I know people that have done it though, and report it as shitty hallucinogen, but they all smoked very little.

My experience of Salvia is that it basically restarts consciousness--immediately after you get an adequate dose into you, you lose all awareness of who you are, where you are, what are things surrounding you, and even how to move your body. From there, you relearn from scratch until memory starts to return. It's very unique and not particularly pleasant--the only recreational value is in watching others do it. If you're interested, there are dozens of trip reports on Youtube.
If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama

      Oh... well that sucks.

So your experience isn't of hallucinations but of... dumbass-ness?

Correct spelling. But, it is not needed to smoke it. Most that smoke it does not know how to do it. And do not really get any of the Salvinorin A in their system. Only the devoted or the lucky ones, knows how.

Smoking is intense, and few recall any of it, though... Chewing is nicer, but I sure will not promote using it. It is not a drug to mess with, as your freinds probably could confirm..

That being said, I have had dreams like 'those people's' trip, not forced like you seem to describe it being for them. But, like living in "paralell alternative realities".
After waking up from 'that' "dream", I could not come to any other thoughts; that the life I live here is real, and I dreamt I was in another reality where I had another life that I live there, dreaming I was here..

Later I found it is not only "two" though...

I babbel, I could go on and on.. :p

I have smoked salvia 10x, and it was the most horrible thing i have done in my whole life!
I smoked it, and suddently forgot EVERYTHING i had ever knew. I did not know that i was a human. And the worst part was that i was stuck in time, but each timeframe elapsed the other and i was lying like that for years before i one day just snapped out of it and thinked something like "This is so wrong, i know i havent been like this forever but i cant remember anything else" (thinked it with sounds, didnt know how to talk or think). So i tried to get up and out of the loop but i couldnt because every time i got up i was on the ground again and looping there. So i tried to run all i could and then i got into a spiral and suddently all i could see was total blackness, and 3 books that were turning pages. In the pages was what i actually saw in real life but i didnt know that, it was like beeing a video-camera or something. And then my friend stopped me from running and got me out of the trip.

You really cant believe how intense and horrible it was, and this whole thing lasted for 3 minutes in real life. There was also many other things that happened but i cant explain it.

For a short time.. But, drugs taken externally, as opposed to being distributed by the body.. ..can do more harm than good. But, it can also do more good than harm. Just mind the risk. And know that the body is all the "external" "drug" you will ever really need.. Just eat right food, and varied!
